It’s easy to assume this is simply due to a general decline in alcohol consumption among the Japanese.

 

However, even we, a sake brewery with over 300 years of history, couldn’t find a clear answer.

 

We felt that simply imitating the success of Dassai wouldn’t lead to a fundamental solution.

 

 

Over the last five years, I’ve actively visited overseas markets to find clues for sake’s revival.
